Ruth was 102 years when she passed away. Her nursing career started as a WWII 2nd Lieutenant Nurse in the Army. She is known to have also been instrumental for starting the nursing program at Mt. San Jacinto College, and the design of the nursing stations at the Hemet and Menifee Valley Hospitals.
